The Red Sox just announced a bunch of new roster moves that flow from the disabling of
Joe Kelly. First, they recalled the formerly demoted
Noe Ramirez from AAA Pawtucket. Next, they promoted right-handed pitcher
William Cuevas from AAA. Recently recalled infielder
Marco Hernandez was optioned back to Pawtucket. And, finally, left-handed pitcher
Edwin Escobar was designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster for Cuevas. Confused? So are we!
