Before last night's game, the Red Sox placed
Pablo Sandoval on the DL with "Fenway Flu".
After the win,
they sent Rusney Castillo (their other pricey bench player) to AAA Pawtucket. While no promotion was initially announced, count on catcher
Christian Vazquez to be up with the big club as soon as Friday night. Castillo is certainly
saying the right things in the wake of his demotion,
"I look at it as an opportunity to play every day and get better. I'm excited at the opportunity to start every day, which is what I've always wanted to do." One thing is for sure, new honcho
