ESPN 'Addressing' Schilling's Clinton/Trump Comments

Red Sox World Series hero Curt Schilling may again be in hot water with his employer. Schilling was interviewed by a Kansas City radio station on Tuesday—ostensibly about the World Series Champion Royals. Not surprisingly, the conversation veered into politics in general and Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in particular. When asked if the former First Lady should go to jail, Schilling said this, "I hope she does. If I'm going to believe, and I don't have any reason not to believe, that she gave classified information on hundreds if not thousands of emails on a public server after what happened to General Petraeus, she should [be] buried under a jail somewhere." If he had left off the last six words, we probably would have never even heard about the interview. This time, Schilling was an "equal opportunity" disparager. Of Trump he said, "I’m tired of the ‘We’re going to make America great again.’ I get it, but what does that mean?...Listen, he hasn’t elaborated, like, on two sentences for a policy." ESPN announced that it is "addressing" Schilling's comments. Stay tuned.
