Donald Trump's Curious Role: Red Sox Match-Maker

OK, this one came out of left-field—or more precisely the pitcher's mound. Apparently, Republican Presidential contender Donald Trump introduced Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz to his wife Lindsay back in 2008. "Say What??!!"—you say? That's right. According to multiple reports, the tall Texas righty was attending a UFC "after party" in California—hosted by The Donald. Assisting the billionaire in his hosting duties was none other than the former Lindsay Clubine. 'The Art Of The Deal' author brought the two together at the function—and the rest is marital history. They tied the knot in 2009. Now, Buchholz unabashedly proclaims his support for the candidate, "His presence is different than anyone else. He speaks and everyone listens." Texas Senator Ted Cruz could not be reached for comment.
