Mookie Betts Performs Well At Reno PBA Tour Event

(PBA Photo)
Not only can Mookie Betts run balls down in the outfield, and smack doubles into the gap—he can also handle the 2-7 or 3-10 'baby split'. For those who only know candlepins (the only truly legitimate bowling), Mookie is an elite ten pin bowler—and has been most of his life. In the Professional Bowlers Association Cheetah Championship in Reno, Nevada, Mookie rolled games of 224, 140, 245, 180, 168, 194, 249, 213 and 154—finishing the day in 212th place. Said Mookie, "It was fun...I would have liked to be at least even (average 200), but for the first time, it was okay...That’s the learning curve. Hopefully I’ll do better tomorrow." Just don't pull a hammy!
