Noah Syndergaard—the 23-year old fireballer of the Mets—
will look to get his team back on track tonight at
Faux Shea. Syndergaard led the majors in average fastball velocity at 97.1 MPH in 2015. Not far behind (in 3rd place) was tonight's 24-year old Kansas City starter
Yordano Ventura (96.3 MPH). It will be interesting to see if the aggressive Royals can catch up to Thor's cheese and whether Ventura can continue his post-season success. Hopefully, Mets fans have successfully weeded out the 'johnny-come-lately' Yankee fans who've jumped on their bandwagon. If so, the atmosphere in Flushing should be pretty electric!
