Well, it finally happened.
The Red Sox traded first baseman Mike Napoli to the Texas Rangers in exchange for cash considerations and/or a player to be named later. Napoli previously played for the Rangers in 2011-12 and is still owed part of his $16 million salary—which Boston will likely help pay for.
