Are Roster Changes Due After Another Loss?

(Canadian Press Via AP)
They've now lost six of seven. They've fired the pitching coach. Their pitching is still wretched—and they can't score runs. They are six games under .500 already against the AL East. Simply put, your 2015 Carmine Hose are a last-place mess. Of course, it doesn't mean things can't be turned around. Manager John Farrell hinted at major roster changes in the offing—which could radically alter the look of the team. Today, Joe "Cy" Kelly gave up six earned runs in 5 2/3 innings—walking a career-high seven. The 7-1 loss is representative of a painfully familiar script—no offense, no pitching, no nothing. New pitching coach Carl Willis must be wondering what he's gotten himself into. Clay Buchholz—and his above-six ERA—will try to prevent the sweep tomorrow. We shall see.
