Once again, reports indicate that the Red Sox are refusing to include top prospect Blake Swihart in any deal for left-handed ace Cole Hamels. It's not surprising that the Phillies are demanding Swihart—rated by many as the top catching prospect in all of baseball. He is rightly being viewed as "untouchable" by Ben Cherington—especially considering the abundance of other available talent in the Red Sox organization. If Cherington can swing a deal for Hamels by protecting Swihart and shortstop Deven Marrero, he should do it. Otherwise, he should go with 'The Mediocre Mound Men' of the current rotation and make a deal (if needed) at the All-Star Break.
