Old friends and colleagues
John Farrell and
Terry Francona will be re-united in the dugout at this year's
All-Star Game in Minnesota.
Farrell announced his choices of Francona and Twins manager Ron Gardenhire to join him at Target Field on July 15th. Farrell served as All-Star pitching coach under Francona in 2008. St. Louis Cardinal manager
Mike Matheny named his two coaching choices as well—managers
Clint Hurdle of the Pirates and
Fredi Gonzalez of the Braves.
