Will Norman Rockwell Sox Painting Fetch $30M?

A Norman Rockwell painting from the 1950s featuring Red Sox players could fetch as much as $30 million at auction. The work—which appeared on the March 2, 1957 cover of the Saturday Evening Post—depicts such 50s Sox players as Frank Sullivan, Jackie Jensen, Sammy White, Billy Goodman and Ted Williams. The title of the piece is: "The Rookie (Red Sox Locker Room)." It was exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in both 2005 and 2008. Christie's auction house will be offering up the painting on May 22nd. The pre-sale estimate of value is between $20 million and $30 million. Folks, this ain't Antiques Roadshow.
