| Victorino Under The "Weather" |
In the on-going struggle against Global Warming, the scheduled April 15th start of
Shane Victorinio's rehab assignment was delayed due to wintry conditions at AA Portland. The Red Sox hope that their right-fielder can get into a game on Wednesday—although
that tilt is also threatened by the 'inconvenient truth' of
wicked cold mid-April weather. Realistically, Victorino's first rehab game will be on Friday—the day he was
supposed to come off the DL and be available to the big club.
