'Papi Trot' (32.91 seconds) Sets New Record

According to the authoritative website TaterTrotTracker.com, David Ortiz's eight-inning game-winning HR on Wednesday produced the slowest home run trot ever—a full 32.91 seconds. This surpassed the previous record (set by Bobby Abreu) of 31.56 seconds. As the TaterTrot people point out, Papi spent a lot of that 32.91 seconds standing at home gauging whether the shot was fair or foul. Nevertheless, the big guy now holds the record for all-time slowest homerun trot. You can view the record-setting trot HERE.
