Miami Marlin Giancarlo Stanton—still rumored by some to be coming to Boston in a trade—clouted what has been estimated at a 525-foot home run today that soared completely out of the Mets' Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The ball hit the top of some black netting on a fence at a practice field well behind the main field. It gives you a sense of the damage Stanton might do in the middle of the Red Sox lineup at Fenway Park. Yikes! You can view the majestic blast HERE.
