MLB May Stiffen Penalties For PED Violations

Now that The Fraudulent One of the Bronx has been shunned for his involvement in the Biogenesis scandal, Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association are seriously considering upping the penalties for violations of the Joint Drug Agreement (perhaps the most poorly-worded anti-drug program ever). According to FOXSports.com's Jon Paul Morosi, both management and labor support the need for tougher sanctions. If it were up to us, a definitive positive test would result in a lifetime ban. Think the problem might go away after that?
