Granderson Goes To Mets In 4-Year, $60M Deal

One of the center field options for the Red Sox is off the table as Curtis Granderson signed a four-year, $60 million deal with the New York Mets. This deal makes it even more likely that The Jackie Bradley, Jr. Era will begin in earnest next April. Reportedly, the Red Sox balked at exactly what the Metropolitans caved on—the four-year length of the deal. Good for Ben Cherington!
