Muddy Chicken Finishes 7th In MVP Balloting

Two-time World Series champion Dustin Pedroia finished tied for seventh in the voting for American League Most Valuable Player. Balloting by the Baseball Writers Association of America elected Miguel Cabrera as AL MVP, followed by Mike Trout, Chris Davis, Josh Donaldson, Robinson Cano, Evan Longoria and The Laser Show. Pedroia got a grand total of 99 votes—tied with former Red Sox third baseman Adrian Beltre. In addition to winning the MVP Award in 2008, Pedroia finished in the top ten (9th place in 2011) one other time in his career.
