John Farrell is making some adjustments for tonight's Game Two against
Max Scherzer.
Mike Carp will start at first base and
Jonny Gomes will be in left. Both
Mike Napoli and
Daniel Nava—a combined 2 for 23 against Scherzer—will sit.
Clay Buchholz will try to avoid a scenario where Boston goes to Motown down 0-2 and facing
Justin Verlander in Game Three.
