Fan Falls To His Death At Atlanta's Turner Field

A 30-year old lifelong Braves fan fell 65 feet to his death last night during a rain delay at Turner Field. Police have ruled out foul play in the death of Ronald Lee Homer Jr. The accident happened right at the end of a two-hour rain delay in a game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves. Sadly, he had just finished a cell phone conversation with his mother before the fall. As Connie Homer said of her final talk with her son, "He said, 'I love you, Mom,' and I said, 'I love you too,' And that was it." An autopsy is planned for today by the Fulton County medical examiner's office.
