Pedro Ciriaco's career is brown sackcloth laundry was not too lengthy. Today,
the San Diego Padres designated Ciriaco for assignment. In 23 games with the Padres, he hit just .238 with a HR and four RBIs. In his tenure with the Red Sox (over parts of two seasons), he hit a combined .281 with three HRs and 23 RBIs. He also had 18 stolen bases in Carmine Hose. We hope Pedro catches on with someone soon.
