Texas. When we all wake up Monday morning, we will probably know a lot more about the legitimacy of the 2013 Carmine Hose. The Red Sox will face three pretty tough Ranger starters—
Derek Holland (3.38 ERA) on Friday;
Alexi Ogando (3.38 ERA) on Saturday; and
Yu Darvish (2.33 ERA) on Sunday. We will send out
Felix Doubront,
John Lackey and
Jon Lester. And, while Texas suffered big departures from their 2012 offense (
Josh Hamilton,
Mike Napoli,
Michael Young), they sit atop the American League West with just three fewer wins than Boston. Hopefully, the MLB's leading road record (9-3) will hold up for the Red Sox.
