David Ross has been working on his swing the last few days. Keep working the same way, David! Ross garnered the first four-hit game of his career—
including two mammoth home runs—leading the Carmine Hose to
a relatively easy 7-3 win over the Not-Ready-For-AAA Astros. Old Friend
Eric Bedard could not get out of the fourth inning and Boston ended up pounding out a total of four round-trippers—with
David Ortiz and
Will Middlebrooks joining in the fun.
Ryan Dempster finally got a well-deserved win—going six innings and giving up just two earned runs while striking out ten.
