South Street Diner Honors Hanrahan With Dish

Red Sox newcomer Joel Hanrahan probably didn't have a Primanti Sandwich named after him in Pittsburgh. But, starting April 8th (Opening Day), he'll have an omelette named for him in Boston. The South Street Diner (at 178 Kneeland Street in Boston) is honoring the new Boston closer with the "Joel Hanraham & Pepper Omlette" (see pic). The tasty treat is made from egg whites, red peppers and diced ham. Whenever Hanrahan wins or saves a game, the diner will offer the dish for only $5.20 (in recognition of his #52).
