According to a report by
WEEI's Rob Bradford,
the Red Sox are expressing a renewed interest in free agent shortstop Stephen Drew—kid brother of former Boston outfielder
J.D. Drew. Drew was traded from Arizona to Oakland last season and performed well down the stretch for the A's. Oakland is interested in retaining him—but he's also on the radar of several other teams besides Boston. Drew is a lifetime .265 hitter over seven big league seasons.
