the 2012 Carmine Hose were left out in the cold when this year's Silver Slugger Awards were handed out by Louisville Slugger and MLB. The awards are given out to the best offensive players at each position in both leagues. If
David Ortiz had not been hurt, he was probably well on his way to the DH Silver Slugger. But, alas, the mighty
Billy Butler copped the honors.
