Red Sox Re-Structure Medical Staff—Again!
's Peter Abraham points out,
the Red Sox have used the disabled list more than any team in baseball since they began keeping records on this stuff
. Last year alone, they lost 1,495 games to injury (24 players on the DL 34 times). So, it should come as no surprise that the team has
re-shuffled its medical staff. They've named both a new
and a new
Coordinator of Sports Medicine Services
. Too bad the team isn't located in a region with top-notch medical facilities. Uh, never mind.
