Multiple reports suggest that the Los Angeles Dodgers are hotly pursuing free-agent Torii Hunter—a prime target of the Red Sox. Of course, since the Dodgers already have two right-fielders on the roster— Andre Ethier and Scott Van Slyke—it could mean that Ethier is available. If that's the case, his good buddy Dustin Pedroia (a teammate at Arizona State) would surely lobby hard to bring the newly-extended (5 years, $85 million) Ethier to Boston in a trade. Stay tuned.
