ESPN Boston.com's
Gordon Edes is reporting that—according to a major league source—
the Red Sox will not be trading troubled starter Jon Lester. Despite widespread interest in the lefty, Boston is apparently holding firm to the fading prospect of a second Wild Card spot. Lester is 5-8 with a 5.46 ERA so far in 2012—and had the worst outing of his career in his last start.
