The Red Sox secured their first road win of 2011 with
a 5-3 victory over Oakland today. Jed Lowrie continued his torrid April, clouting his third HR (a two-tun shot) to stretch the Sox lead at the time to 4-1. Kevin Youkilis and J.D. Drew also went yard and Carl Crawford got an RBI.
Clay Buchholz went 5 1/3 OK innings, still throwing too many balls, but escaping with only one run (thanks to the bullpen).
