Muddy Chicken Will Not Need Additional Knee Surgery, Sights Set On 2019

Red Sox President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski stated on Monday that second-baseman Dustin Pedroia will not need any additional surgery on his knee this offseason. The Laser Show will continue to rehab his left knee through the middle of next month, and then engage in more rigorous activities in the run-up to Spring Training. Said Dombrowski (rather cryptically): "We're hopeful he'll be ready for the season at this point." Stay tuned!
