Red Sox Eyeing A Pair Of Halo Relievers To Boost Bullpen Bridge To Kimbrel
Multiple reports indicate that Dave Dombrowski is in trade talks with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (Orange County, California, United States, Earth, Milky Way) regarding two Halo relief pitchers. It's unclear if the Red Sox are interested in obtaining both Blake Parker and Justin Anderson or just one of the relatively no-name hurlers. The 33-year-old Parker is 2-1 with a 3.42 ERA this season—averaging 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings. The 25-year-old Anderson is 2-2 this year with a 3.38 ERA—averaging 11.3 Ks per nine innings. Both pitchers are right-handers. It's also unclear at this stage who would be going back to the Angels in any trade. Stay tuned!
