Is Excessive 'Fortnite' Play The Cause Of David Price's Carpal Tunnel Issues?

Only David Price could make our Red Sox World weirder than it already is. There are actually credible press accounts that speculate whether Price's admitted addiction to the video game 'Fortnite' may have played a role in his carpal tunnel diagnosis. Again, folks, you just can't make this stuff up. Price has stated that he spends up to three hours a day playing the game (which we admit to having absolutely no knowledge of). But, three hours a day??? Since carpal tunnel is largely due to repetitive stress from things like playing video games (or banging out blog posts on a keyboard), you gotta wonder. Believe it or not, the question actually came up in the back-and-forth with manager Alex Cora. Said the skipper, "We’ll talk about it...From what I know, David has played video games his whole life. It seems like Fortnite now is the one everybody is playing, but last year, I saw a lot of guys playing Fifa. That’s a lot of playing, too. So, there’s a lot of teams playing Fortnite, too. We’ll talk about it." Oh, my goodness. Hey, if they prove a connection between 'Fortnite' and the injury, does Price have to sit out two weeks? See what we did there?
