David Price's Finger Sensations Should Not Threaten His Next Scheduled Start

The "sensations" in his fingertips felt last night by David Price will apparently not require further testing and will not likely prevent him from making his next scheduled start—although he is listed as "day-to-day". After the Red Sox-Yankee melee on Wednesday night, Manager Alex Cora stated that Price will attempt to play catch Thursday and see how he feels from there. Price was removed from the game after being pummeled for four runs by the Yankees in the first inning of an eventual 10-7 loss. In other injury news, RP Bobby Poyner was placed on the 10-day DL (left hamstring) and RP Marcus Walden was promoted from AAA Pawtucket.
