Hold your horses, sports fans! The "slam-dunk" deal that was set to send
Giancarlo Stanton to the city-by-the-bay may
not be so
slam-dunky after all. According to
USAToday's
Bob Nightengale, the Giants
have not been given any assurances yet that Stanton will waive his no-trade clause to play his home games at AT&T Park. Since we
also know that the Marlins only requested prospect reports from the Giants and Cardinals, St. Louis may be edging back into contention. Stay tuned!
