The Red Sox have
added three pitchers to their 40-man roster—which is now full. LHP
Jalen Beeks, and RHPs
Chandler Shepherd and
Ty Buttrey were all added today—and thus protected from the Rule Five Draft. The Boston roster is now composed of: 24 pitchers, 3 catchers, 9 infielders and 4 outfielders—the later group now containing
Bryce Brentz.
