Remy 'Feeling Good', Past Chemo And On To Radiation

Remy And The E-I-C At Sox Fantasy Camp (1992)
Legendary Red Sox player and broadcaster Jerry Remy announced on Tuesday that he has completed surgery and a regimen of chemotherapy in the treatment of his lung cancer. He will now move on to radiation treatments. Everyone in The Nation is confident and hopeful that Jerry will be back in the Red Sox broadcast booth very early in the 2018 season—if not for the very first game of Spring Training. Remy, who grew up in Somerset, Massachusetts, played second base for Boston from 1978-1985. He has called over 3,900 Red Sox games over the last 30 years. He turns 65 years old today. Get back soon, Jerry!
