FenwayNation Poll shows that a plurality of readers (42%) want the Red Sox to get
both a relief pitcher and a third baseman at the MLB Trade Deadline. As the chart shows, the
next most popular option (23%) calls for getting
just a third baseman via trade. The share of voters who want the team to "stand pat" and not make
any trades sits at 13%—the same percentage that wrote-in "other" responses (including "get rid of Ramirez"). One voter in ten (10%) wants to trade for
just a relief pitcher. You can still vote in the poll
