Muddy Chicken Questionable For Kansas City Series

After being hit in the back late in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Astros, Red Sox second-baseman Dustin Pedroia visited a Houston hospital to check on the swelling that developed. He was cleared to travel with the team, but his status for the upcoming Kansas City series in questionable. According to manager John Farrell, The Laser Show lost range of motion in his left arm after the hit-by-pitch incident. It's likely he'll miss at least the first game of the Royals series tonight—with Josh Rutledge replacing The Muddy Chicken and Pablo Sandoval in at third. Stay tuned!
