Former Sox Pitcher Trautwein Authors Book On Suicide

Former Red Sox pitcher John Trautwein and his wife suffered a parent's worst nightmare: the loss of a child. Even more painfully, they had to come to grips with the fact that their 15-year son succumbed to suicide. To help bring awareness to the issue of teen suicide, Trautwein has written "My Living Will: A Father’s Story of Loss and Hope" (WestBowPress)—a book that chronicles the grieving and healing process after his son Will's suicide. Said Trautwein, "This outlet (the book) is a great way to get people to talk about the issue, which is the ultimate purpose of the Will To Live Foundation. Despite the devastating tragedy we went through, there was an incredible amount of inspirational things that happened to us." FenwayNation will have the opportunity to review the book, so please look for that review soon.
