Twinkies Showing Surprising Strength In AL Central

Apparently, this is not your father's Minnesota Twins. Boston's Fort Myers Frat Brothers are actually playing good baseball this season—compiling a 14-12 record so far. And, they've outscored your 2017 Carmine Hose by a 122-107 margin (not that it's all that impressive to outscore the Red Sox this year). The Sox will hook-up with their Mayor's Cup rivals for a three-game set in Prairie Home Companion Park (don't you think it should be named that instead of boring 'Target Field'?). So far, it's been the Miguel Sano Show for the Twinkies—with the 3B leading the team in HRs (8), batting average (.300), RBIs (27), OBP (.432) and hits (27). On the pitching side, Ervin Santana has been their star—going 5-0 with a 0.65 ERA.
