Sam Travis, one the most talented position players in the organization, has been called up from AAA Pawtucket to the big club. The 6', 210-pound Travis is currently the #3 prospect in the Sox farm system and has been on a tear in May. He's hitting .333 for the month—and on the year overall, he has 4 HRs and 14 RBIs in 33 games. Travis (a 23-year-old 2nd round pick in 2014) will likely face left-handers in place of
Mitch Moreland.
