Due to a Cubs rotation shuffle yesterday,
Red Sox fans will not get to see Jon Lester pitch next week at Fenway Park. Lester will now start
this Friday against the Reds and then again on April 26th against the Pirates. The
World Series Champion Cubbies come to Boston for a series starting on Friday, April 28th running through Sunday the 30th. This series will mark the first time Lester has been back at Fenway since he was traded in 2014. During his nine-year tenure in
Carmine Hose, Lester was 110-63 (.636 winning percentage). From 2007-2013, he also pitched in 13
post-season games for Boston.
