David Price Donates $2.5M To Vanderbilt Baseball

Vanderbilt alum David Price has donated $2.5 million to his alma mater's baseball program. The Red Sox ace gave the money to help build a new $12 million baseball facility on the Vandy campus. Price was the #1 overall pick out of college and was the 2007 National College Player Of The Year (the same title held by his current teammate Andrew Benintendi out of Arkansas). The former Commodore (and Tennessee native) signed a seven-year $217 million contract to pitch in Boston.
