Hanley And Price Lead Red Sox Past D'Backs, 9-4

Hanley Ramirez's back must have been OK. The Boston first-baseman clouted two three-run HRs last night to power The Carmine Hose to a very needed 9-4 win. David Ortiz also homered—and went 3-4 overall—to up his RBI total to 90. David Price was solid—going eight strong innings and yielding three earned runs while striking out eight. New backstop Bryan Holaday also knocked in a run—and helped out on a spectacular double-play engineered by Jackie Bradley, Jr. All in all, a good win—putting Boston just 2.5 games out of the division lead.
