Red Sox One Of Seven Teams Still In On Chris Sale

According to Jon Heyman of TodaysKnuckleBall.com, the Red Sox are one of seven teams still in the mix to trade for White Sox left-handed ace Chris Sale. Despite Sale's recent wardrobe tantrum, the asking price for the 27-year old has not diminished. The Pale Hose are still looking for a combination of five top prospects and/or positional players to get Sale. The conventional wisdom has been that Dave Dombrowski—despite his reputation for "bold" deals—would not surrender Yoan Moncada, Andrew Benintendi, Michael Kopech or Rafael Devers. But, he already let top-rated pitcher Anderson Espinoza go, so who knows? Stay tuned—just three more days of intrigue!
