Price And Mookie Lead Red Sox Past Mariners, 2-1

David Price still did not get a ton of run support today—but he got just enough for the team to pull out a 2-1 win. Price delivered his third straight outing of 8 innings—giving up just one cheapo Pesky Pole wrap-around HR. Mookie Betts broke the tie in the seventh inning—lacing an inside pitch (his 15th HR) into The Monster Seats. It was one of three hits for The MookMeister—who is now hitting .295. Jackie Bradley, Jr. also had a multiple-hit game (2-3, including a triple)—along with Chris Young (2-4). Craig Kimbrel struck out the side in the ninth—with a sick combination of 99 MPH fastballs and nasty 87 MPH breaking stuff. Bring on Chris Sale and White Sox!
