Michael Yastrzemski —the grandson of Red Sox legend Carl Yastrzemski—was promoted to AAA Norfolk by the Baltimore Orioles. The 25-year old got settled in quickly at his new digs by getting two hits against the PawSox—including an RBI triple. The Vanderbilt University product is currently ranked as the #20 prospect in the Orioles organization. Prior to his promotion, 'Yaz' had been hitting .268 with 6 HRs and 27 RBIs for the AA Bowie Baysox. We wish Mike all the best as he moves up the Baltimore ladder!
