'Clay Pigeon' Falters Again, Red Sox Lose to Tribe, 4-2

Once again, his teammates provided him a lead. And, once again, Clay Buchholz coughed it up. Staked to a 2-0 advantage, Buchholz hung a cupcake that turned into a three-run HR and sealed Boston's fate in an eventual 4-2 loss to The Tribe. The tall Texas righty is now 2-4 with a 5.92 ERA. Can AAA be far behind? The loss overshadowed Jackie Bradley, Jr. extending his hitting streak to 25 games—launching the first pitch he saw on the night into the center-field bleachers for a HR. Mookie Betts got two hits, but the Boston offense pretty much ended there.
