Anderson Espinoza—the #4 rated Red Sox prospect by MLB.com—delivered
six stellar innings today for the Single A Greenville Drive. The 18-year old Venezuelan righty gave up no runs on just two hits—while striking out three and walking none. While other prospects in the organization—most notably
Yoan Moncada and
Andrew Benintendi—tend to get more ink, Espinoza could prove to be the most impactful player of the lot. Look for the kid to make a rapid rise through the organization. Stay tuned!
