Red Cross Blood Drives To Honor 2013 Marathon Victims

The American Red Cross will host three blood drives in honor of the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. The drives will also pay tribute to the strength and resilience shown by so many following the attacks. The blood drive dates and locations are:

Stoneham Strong Blood Drive—Friday, April 8, 2016 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. First Congregational Church of Stoneham, 1 Church Street, Stoneham

Boston Strong Blood Drive—Friday, April 15, 2016 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sheraton Boston Hotel – Hampton, Gardner & Exeter Rooms, 39 Dalton Street, Boston

Watertown Strong Blood Drive—Saturday, April 16, 2016 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Watertown High School, 50 Columbia Street, Watertown  

In April 2013, the Red Cross sent 600 blood products to Boston area hospitals in response to the Boston Marathon bombings. Blood donations helped save lives in the aftermath of the attacks and events in Watertown. All donors at the blood drives will receive a complimentary one day pass to Six Flags New England.
